Digital Screen Inspection Camera

Usually during a home inspection a fireplace flu has limited view due to access.  During a home inspection in Middletown, N.J. I was able to use the Digital Screen Inspection Camera to get a better look further up the chimney flu.  I was suprised to find a bird's nest half way up the flu.  The homeowner didn't know it was there because she didn't use the fireplace in about 5 years.  Many times during a home inspection I go beyond the standards of practice. copyrighted@2009
