Low Ceiling Pull Chain Light

 This picture shows a pull chain light mounted on a low unfinished ceiling in a basement. An "isolating link" made of plastic or cardboard would help prevent the metal pull chain from being alive electrically. I recommeded to replace this fixture with a recessed type fluorescent fixture with a cover. A fluorescent type fixture with a cover would be a much safer application. |
